I have had my July 4th decorations wrapped up for a while but have been traveling and haven’t grouped them all together. I’m excited to show you around. I love seeing what other bloggers do and get inspired, as well. Hope you will be too.
If you have been following my blogs or following me on Instagram, you will know that I have had to be thrifty and since July 4th doesn’t normally rank with Halloween and Christmas, that’s OK with me. I am also excited with how easy this will be to pack away.
I was very pleased with how this area turned out. The 4 large fireworks, I made out of PVC piping. I shared my step by step process in an earlier post. The fans were inexpensive and I’m excited that they will fold up to almost nothing. The fireplace mantel piece, I personally sewed myself.
This swag I made from the left over fabric from the mantel piece, I just tore it into strips. I then purchased ribbon and intermixed it in with the fabric strips.
The sprays coming out of the fireworks came from Hobby Lobby.
The table, oh my! I have had the red & white plates for several years. Both blue and white plates, I got from Goodwill. I love when I find treasures. The blue glass vase was from Goodwill and have looked high and low for more with no success. I’m considering that the thrill of the hunt. The clear cylinder vases are from Target. The picks/sprays are from Hobby Lobby. Do you spy my pool noodle fireworks?
The cylinder shaped candles are from The Dollar Tree and the ribbon is from Walmart. I filled the glass vases that I already had with Christmas ornaments. Can you believe that I didn’t have navy ones? And, it’s the wrong time of the year to buy navy ornaments. I made the bows from ribbon I purchased at Hobby Lobby, as well.
Hope you enjoyed the tour and may your July 4th be safe and full of fun and good times had by all.
Here is the post which has links to where I purchased a few of the items.
Happy 4th, Debbie
