Organizing-The Coat Closet

Our 12 weeks of organization is not about laying out our spaces differently but just taking the time to go through the space that is being addressed for the week. You may have a lot to purge or you may just need to organize the area a little better or the area for the week may already be in great shape. Whatever your plan is, we are with you!

It is my hopes that you will share ways that you organize. I personally would like to see spaces that are tiny, as I would like to build a tiny home some day for a cabin.

Remember, each time you share a photo or tip, you go in the drawing that will take place at the end of our 12 weeks!

I am thankful to have a larger coat closet than in the past. A couple of my favorite features that I did in this closet was hanging my boots and the pull out baskets. Click on the arrow to match the video.

John Louis Home Standard Closet System in Maple or Mahogany

This above closet I found on Hayneedle and they sell the systems. Although this is a clothes closet this is how I had my last closet laid out. I did the double bar on the left and I did cubbies in the middle and long coats on the right. You could add baskets on the shelves and label who’s or what is in them.

Growing up, we had a small closet and my dad double barred the closet, which gave us twice the space.

My closet system came from The Container Store.

Have a wonderful week, Debbie
