I dread cleaning through spaces like the desk drawers. When we moved into this home, I just threw stuff like this in drawers. I guess because I didn’t know at the time where everything was going to go. I had magnets in here, a seam ripper, way too many ear plugs, the list goes on.
I was so excited that I was able to empty the above drawer totally and condense it into another drawer. That felt so good! I took the ear plugs to the garage where they made more since to have them. I wear them while a mow the grass. I had cute little magnets in there that I had bought when I had a brunch for Danielle and gave them for gifts, and more magnets for a craft project. They will be donated. It was a lot of moving like items with like items. Yes, the seam ripper went upstairs with the other sewing items. Isn’t it funny how random things show up in random places.
Our office still needs more work but if I said “clean through the office, the whole office”, it would be way overwhelming. Therefore, if we just pick a small area, it is much more doable.
I’m curious as to how everyone is doing. Are you still hanging in there or did you stop?
On Feb. 27th at 1:30pm, Michele Heisler who is a Feng Shui consultant or practitioner (as she puts it to work :)) will be going live with me on Facebook on my Hello-Midlife page. I invite you to join us. If you have a specific question, please let me know and I will try to get it answered for you.
Blessings to your week, Debbie
PS. I loved reading Marie Kondo’s book, I think they are beneficial when cleaning through areas of your life and organizing. Below are links to her books and also to a drawer organizer. I love the bamboo divider trays. These links are affiliates and I receive a small commission if you purchase through the links. Thank you!
